aptX Bluetooth streaming is one of the main features of Android O. aptX is a series of streaming protocols owned by Qualcomm, that feature much lower latency compared to normal Bluetooth audio streaming. But news coming that owners of Nexus 6P and 5x in not interested in considering this in his device.A user complaint about the missing of the aptX on the Nexus 6P but when received by a google developer straight away he gave a reply that this bug cant be fixed,he stated that.
“Unfortunately support for aptX and aptX HD are not supported on Nexus 6p and Nexus 5X – only on newer devices.”
Is this real that google is not interested in considering aptX or they are not able to fix out the feature inside the devices.According to iFixit both phones have the eligible Qualcomm WCD9330 audio codec chip which is handling this feature in many devices like LG G4 has the aptX.
But we cant say that on the chip it would be obvious to have aptX in it there are many other aspects that should be seen while installing this into the devices.Lets see Google will back off from there step considering the customers demand like they did in the fingerprint sensor malware in the same devices Nexus 6p and 5X.
